HSE Policy

No Accidents. No Harm to People. No Damage to the Environment.

Safety

We conduct regular safety meetings and enforce Job Safety Analyses on every job. Morning round-ups and tailgate meetings on location cover additional precautions to keep crew members safe and the environment in good hands. All of our employees undergo regular safety training to maintain the latest certifications in specialty training, including but not limited to, hot work, lockout/tagout, confined space, and First Aid/CPR. Additionally, our crew members are all PEC SafeLandUSA certified.

SSE Program

Our Short Service Employee (SSE) program requires all new hires to undergo a six month in-field training period before earning a white hard hat. During this time, green hats (SSE's) work alongside senior employees of NOSI. Training is hands-on, and no two days in the oilfield are the same. We believe in teamwork and hard work. All employees, after the six month trial period, have a vast and versatile skill set for any oilfield task.

We pride ourselves on higher standards in the quality of our work and in our integrity. We believe in hiring and working with the best, and in being a generous member of our community. At Northern, the Code of the West is our operational philosophy. It outlines our standard of integrity, a contributing factor in how we've earned a reputation as one of the most trusted and sought after oilfield service providers in the Williston Basin.

Code of the West

1) Live each day with courage.
2) Take pride in your work.
3) Always finish what you start.
4) Do what has to be done.
5) Be tough, but fair.
6) When you make a promise, keep it.
7) Ride for the brand.
8) Talk less and say more.
9) Remember that some things aren't for sale.
10) Know where to draw the line.
